University Of Michigan 14 Karat Gold Key dated 1940. The back of this key is embossed Michigan 1940 Norman Lee Olsen. There also is an inscription LGB on it. The key has a very small round end opening in it. Possibly a watch key?
It measures 1 3/8ths inches long and is 3/4 of an inch wide.
